Fortune depicts a female figure suspended between chance and destiny. Around her appear symbols associated with gambling and money—cards, dice, and coins—evoking risk, luck, and the illusion of control.
The woman appears not to be ruled by fortune, but aware: her gaze is steady, almost detached, as though she herself governs what seems random. The fragmented composition echoes life’s unpredictability, while the balance of forms suggests that even within chaos, an invisible logic exists.
The work invites reflection on the relationship between choice and destiny, desire and consequence, transforming the concept of fortune into a metaphor for the human condition.
